hi fats,with less restricted muffler than original turned air fuel mixture screw out 5 full turns absolutly no backfire or farting when running or shutting down, upon removal of white spacer ,went to three full turns out .also have foam air cleaner,w/14,000 miles on spark plug (1#hotter)no backfire.occasional whuf,when shutting down,runs like a bear!
